On Saturday, March 22, former Smoky Mountain High School standout Alannah Hopkins’ current college team, the Providence Friars, won 11-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the DePaul Blue Demons.

The game took place at Cacciatore Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Blue Demons this season.

The Friars’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 25 at 4 p.m. at Glay Field against Rhode Island Rams.
