On Friday, April 11, former Franklin High School standout Avery Moffitt’s current college team, the North Georgia Nighthawks, won 4-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Columbus State Cougars.

The game took place at Haines & Carolyn Hill Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Cougars this season.

The Nighthawks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at 12 p.m. at Haines & Carolyn Hill Stadium against Columbus State Cougars.
