The county registered an average of $5.20 per gallon for diesel gas.
GasBuddy reports show that diesel gas was available at three of the seven reported gas stations in Clay County.
Across North Carolina, the average reported price for a gallon of diesel gas fell to $5.52, compared to the week before.
