On Wednesday, March 12, former Franklin High School standout Avery Moffitt’s current college team, the North Georgia Nighthawks, won 7-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Union Bulldogs.
The game took place at Shea Brothers Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Bulldogs this season.
The Nighthawks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 14 at 4 p.m. at Haines & Carolyn Hill Stadium against Georgia Southwestern State Hurricanes.
