Franklin High School standout Malachi Hayes’ college team lost in NCAA Division III baseball game on Saturday, March 22

On Saturday, March 22, former Franklin High School standout Malachi Hayes’ current college team, the NC Wesleyan Battling Bishops, lost 22-8 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Southern Virginia Knights.

The game took place at Bauer Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Knights this season.

The Battling Bishops’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 26 at 3 p.m. at Captains Park against Christopher Newport Captains.
