On Sunday, March 2, former Franklin High School standout Malachi Hayes’ current college team, the NC Wesleyan Battling Bishops, lost 11-3 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the LaGrange Panthers.
The game took place at Cleaveland Field. This was their third matchup against the Panthers this season.
The Battling Bishops’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 12 p.m. at Bauer Field against Kean Cougars.
