The North Carolina Republican Party (NCGOP) will conduct a live Zoom training session for Gaston County on August 20 at 7:00 PM. The event will be led by Dakota Cook, the Political Director of NCGOP. According to organizers, this type of focused precinct leadership training is not being offered anywhere else in the country.

North Carolina is currently the only state party providing such targeted training sessions for precinct leaders. Gaston County is among the first counties selected to participate in this initiative.

“This kind of training isn’t happening anywhere else in the country. In fact, North Carolina is the only state party offering this kind of focused training for precinct leadership, and we’re one of the first counties to receive it,” stated event organizers.

The invitation extends to Precinct Chairs, Township Chairs, At-Large Members, and all interested participants within Gaston County. Organizers encourage community members to attend and note that there will be special incentives for those who join the session.

“This is a unique chance to hear directly from the state party and grow stronger as a team as we work toward November. Precinct Chairs, Township Chairs, and At-Large Members, we especially hope to see you there, but everyone is welcome!” they said.

Further details about accessing the Zoom link are expected soon. The NCGOP expressed appreciation for ongoing support from local Republicans as preparations continue ahead of upcoming elections.

“We’re so proud of the momentum we’re building together, let’s show the state that Gaston County is leading the way!

Thank you for your continued commitment to keeping Gaston County red and Republican strong.”
