Harris Regional Hospital will host a Lunch & Learn event on June 24, 2025, focusing on children’s summer safety. The session is part of the hospital’s recognition of National Safety Month and will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Easton Board Room.

Carmen Nations, MD of Harris Pediatrics, will lead the event, providing expert advice on various topics related to summer safety for children. These topics include water safety, sun protection, preventing heat-related illnesses, playground and bike safety, and travel precautions.

Ashley Hindman, CEO of Harris Regional Hospital, emphasized the hospital’s dedication to community welfare. “Our commitment to the community goes beyond hospital walls,” Hindman stated. “Through programs like this Lunch & Learn, we’re equipping families with the knowledge they need to keep their children safe and healthy all summer long.”

The session is open to parents, grandparents, teachers, and community members interested in learning essential safety tips in an informative environment. Lunch will be provided during the event.
