Harris Regional Hospital has announced the addition of Bryant Reinking, PA-C, to its medical staff with the reopening of Harris Cardiology on April 1. The facility is located at 80 Healthcare Drive, Suite 101 in Sylva.
Reinking brings significant experience in vascular and general surgery and is known for his dedication to patient education and preventive care. His career spans over seven years as a physician assistant in surgical and clinical settings. He has expertise in managing complex cardiovascular conditions and providing both inpatient and outpatient care.
“I have always been fascinated by the human body and how we can optimize its function,” Reinking stated. “The heart is at the core of everything we do, and I love working in a specialty that is both integral to overall health and allows me to make a real difference in people’s lives.”
Originally from Colorado, Reinking moved to western North Carolina earlier this year with his family. For the past two months, he has worked closely with Western Carolina Cardiology at Haywood Regional Medical Center in Clyde. This collaboration will continue with providers Steven Gore, MD, Michael Miller, MD, David Peterson, MD, Paul Albert, NP, and Kathy Hefner, NP.
The reopening of Harris Cardiology aims to provide outpatient cardiology services such as preventive care and treatment for heart disease for residents of Jackson County and nearby areas.
“We are thrilled to welcome Bryant Reinking, PA-C, to our medical team with the reopening of Harris Cardiology,” said Ashley Hindman, CEO of Harris Regional and Swain Community Hospitals. “Bryant’s expertise, passion for cardiology, and patient-first approach will enhance the care we provide and improve heart health in our community.”
Harris Regional Hospital is accredited by the American College of Cardiology as a Chest Pain Center. The hospital offers comprehensive cardiac services including both inpatient evaluations during hospital stays.
