Harris Regional Hospital announced the arrival of its first baby of 2026, Lawton Anderson, who was born on January 2 at 7:56 p.m. The delivery took place at the New Generations Family Birthing Center, a unit within the hospital that focuses on family-centered maternity care.
Lawton is the son of Abbygale Lee and Kayne Anderson. This marks Lee’s third child and her first time delivering at Harris Regional Hospital. She said, “The staff truly went above and beyond for both me and my baby. I felt listened to and supported, and they took the time to get to know me. It was an outstanding experience.”
Harris Regional Hospital operates as an 86-bed acute care facility in Sylva, North Carolina.
