Harris Regional Hospital has announced the addition of Lindsay Mason, a board-certified family nurse practitioner, to its medical staff. Mason is set to begin her role on August 1 at Harris Pediatric Care in Sylva.

Mason, who hails from Jackson County, brings ten years of nursing experience. Her background includes expertise in geriatric care, infection prevention, nurse management, and pediatric care. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner from Carson-Newman University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.

Mason has received advanced clinical training in adult, pediatric, and women’s health and has worked in urgent care and family practice settings. Her approach emphasizes team-based care focused on wellness and prevention.

Outside of work, Mason enjoys traveling with her family, exploring national parks, collecting Disney memorabilia, and reading historical fiction.

At Harris Pediatric Care, Mason will join other healthcare providers including Carmen Nations, MD; Margaret White, MD; Brooke Budde, DO; Natalie Steinbicker, PA; and Brittany Rogers, FNP-C.
