On Sunday, March 2, former Smoky Mountain High School standout Alannah Hopkins’ current college team, the Providence Friars, won 6-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the George Mason Patriots.

The game took place at UCF Softball Complex. This was their first matchup against the Patriots this season.

The Friars’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 3 p.m. at Glay Field against Creighton Bluejays.
