On Sunday, March 9, former Franklin High School standout Avery Moffitt’s current college team, the North Georgia Nighthawks, won 10-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Lander Bearcats.
The game took place at Haines & Carolyn Hill Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Bearcats this season.
The Nighthawks’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 12 at 1:15 p.m. at Shea Brothers Stadium against Union Bulldogs.
