On Tuesday, March 18, former Murphy High School standout Annie Kate Dalton’s current college team, the East Carolina Pirates, won 14-10 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the North Carolina Central Eagles.

The game took place at Max R. Joyner Family Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Eagles this season.

The Pirates’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 6:30 p.m. at USF Softball Stadium against South Florida Bulls.
