On Saturday, March 15, former Smoky Mountain High School standout Gavin McCoy’s current college team, the Brevard Tornados, won 10-5 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Southern Virginia Knights.
The game took place at Harvey-Dryden Field. This was their third matchup against the Knights this season.
The Tornados’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 29 at 12 p.m. at Gil Coan Field against NC Wesleyan Battling Bishops.
