On Saturday, April 5, former Smoky Mountain High School standout Tate Stewman’s current college team, the Western Carolina Catamounts, won 3-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Chattanooga Mocs.

The game took place at Jim Frost Stadium. This was their fourth matchup against the Mocs this season.

The Catamounts’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 6 at 2 p.m. at Jim Frost Stadium against Chattanooga Mocs.
