DescriptionThe 11th annual season of Concerts on the Creek continues on Friday, Aug. 7 when the series welcomes back fan favorites Dashboard Blue.

Dashboard Blue is a five piece band based in Asheville, N.C., with 25+ years of professional experience playing and entertaining at venues of all sizes. Always a crowd favorite, Dashboard Blue plays a wide variety of music including Rock, R&B, 50’s, Disco, Funk, Pop, Beach, Country and a few classics. Fans will enjoy all those great timeless tunes that we loved to hear coming from the dashboard radio, arranged with tight harmonies and danceable grooves.

Their musical influences include Doobie Brothers, Jimmy Buffet, Eagles, Motown, James Taylor, Stevie Ray Vaughn, James Brown and many others.

Held from 7-9 p.m. every Friday from Memorial Day through Labor Day at the Bridge Park in Sylva, these FREE, family-friendly events are organized by the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce, the Town of Sylva and the Jackson County Parks and Recreation Department. Bring a chair or blanket. Donations are greatly appreciated. There will be a food truck for this concert to be announced later.
