Graham County Health Department issued the following announcement on Jan. 6.
We will be hosting the MedAssist event for tomorrow. For those that volunteered to help set up, that begins today. Today is also vaccine day, so please be patient as these events will overlap.
Walk-in services will be EXTREMELY limited today and tomorrow. Please wrap up any business you have with the health department this morning.
The MedAssist event is from 9am to 2pm tomorrow. There are a lot of people pre-registered for the event. Please be patient. It is staffed by volunteers and they will get to you as quickly as they can. Health department business will be very difficult and time intensive to conduct tomorrow with the size of the event, so please hold this until next week, or reach out to us this morning.
