Andrews Public Library issued the following announcement on Apr. 4.
April 5-21, 2022
Age Groups: 0-10, 11-17, 18+
Create a book spine poem using 3-7 books. You can use books at home or books at the library. Take a photo of your poem and email it along with your name, age group, library branch, and written text of the poem to brwysl20@gmail.com by Thursday, April 21 at 11:59pm. Don’t include any people in your photo. Only 1 entry per person is allowed. You will receive a reply to your entry email. If you don’t, contact your library or Bridget at 828-837-2025. If you need assistance taking a photo and/or emailing it, library staff will be happy to help you. Library staff will vote on all the entries. There will be one winner in each age group across the library system. Winners will be announced on Tuesday, April 26 on Facebook and prizes will be available for pickup at the libraries on Wednesday, April 27.
