Jackson County Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Apr. 4.
The Tuck River Cleanup, one of the nation's largest single-day river cleanups, is back this year!
The first round of registration will take place from 8:00 - 9:00 am. The second round of registration will take place 12:00 - 1:00 pm. YOU MUST REGISTER IN PERSON ON WCU'S CAMPUS ON THE UC LAWN.
Due to available gear, each registration will be limited to about 300 volunteers.
The first 500 volunteers to register will receive a free t-shirt. Trash bags, gloves and transportation to and from rafting and walking routes will be provided.
