The warmer weather means the outdoors are calling your name. While you’re enjoying the sunshine, remember to protect your skin and eyes from harmful UV rays.

Heading outdoors?
Always wear sunscreen
• SPF 30 to 50 is recommended
• Apply sunscreen about 15 to 30 minutes before sun exposure
• Reapply every two hours or more often if you've been swimming, running or sweating
Never look directly at the sun
The sun's rays are strongest between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Be sure to protect your eyes and skin by:
• Wearing sunglasses that block UV rays
• Staying in a shaded area whenever possible
• Wearing proper clothing, like a wide-brimmed hat and long pants]
