Graham County Health Department issued the following announcement on Oct. 30.
Graham County is taking applications for a Dental Assistant. Graduation from an approved dental assistant course; or graduation from high school and one year of on-the-job training as a dental assistant and required x-ray training when needed. Dental Assistant certification in North Carolina.
Maintain clinic cleanliness and hygiene, assist dental hygienist and dentist with procedures, expose and process radiographs, complete patient education and outreach, formulate policies, assist with dental billing, and attend continuing education opportunities.
Hourly wage: $23,296.00 - $33,463.00 depending on experience. Hours: Monday – Thursday 8 am – 5 pm. This position is permanent part-time (32 hours per week).
