Macon County Schools issued the following announcement on March 6.
Congratulations to the eight high school student teams selected as finalists for the 2023 #NCJrChef Competition!
The teams will showcase their culinary creativity with their school lunch entree recipes in the state cook-off next month.
- Apex High (Wake County Public Schools)
- Ashe County High
- Brevard High (Transylvania County Schools)
- Franklin High (Macon County Schools)
- Havelock High (Craven County Schools)
- Northern High (Durham Public Schools)
- Swain County High
- Weaver Academy (Guilford County Schools)
