On Tuesday, March 4, former Smoky Mountain High School standout Tate Stewman’s current college team, the Western Carolina Catamounts, won 5-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Presbyterian Blue Hose.

The game took place at PC Softball Complex. This was their third matchup against the Blue Hose this season.

The Catamounts’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 5:30 p.m. at Terry Field against Winthrop Eagles.
