Town of Franklin Police Department issued the following announcement on Jan. 10.

During the night of Friday January 6, 2023, Franklin Police Officers responded to a domestic dispute situation involving a juvenile. 

 While on scene, the juvenile made harmful threats toward Officers and themself, then fled the residence on foot.  

Officer Eli Kirkland and K9 Toro were called to the residence soon after to begin a track to locate the juvenile.  

Officer Kirkland and Toro were able to track and locate the juvenile without incident. 

 The juvenile was safely taken into custody, and transported to a local facility for an evaluation.
