On Saturday, April 12, former Union Academy standouts Riley Griffin and Savanna Brooks’ current college team, the Wingate Bulldogs, won 9-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Mars Hill Lions.

The game took place at Wingate Softball Complex. This was their second matchup against the Lions this season.

The Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 13 at 1 p.m. at Wingate Softball Complex against Mount Olive Trojans.
