On Wednesday, April 2, former Smoky Mountain High School standout Alannah Hopkins’ current college team, the Providence Friars, won 3-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Boston Terriers.

The game took place at Glay Field. This was their first matchup against the Terriers this season.

The Friars’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 3 p.m. at Glay Field against Seton Hall Pirates.
