Jackson County Chamber Of Commerce issued the following announcement on Jul. 24.
The 11th annual season of Concerts on the Creek continues on Friday, July 30 when the series welcomes Arnold Hill for a 7-9 p.m., performance at the Bridge Park.
Arnold Hill is an alternative rock trio based out of the Great Smoky Mountains of North Carolina. Identified by their lyrical storytelling, rich three-part harmonies, and dynamic instrumentation, Arnold Hill brings presence and energy to every stage they play.
Arnold Hill released their first original LP, "Back To Life", in 2019 which can be found on all major streaming platforms. As a follow-up to the success of their first album, Arnold Hill is pleased to announce the upcoming release of their sophomore effort due in 2021.
Concerts on the Creek are held most Friday nights from 7-9 p.m. at the Bridge Park in Sylva, through Labor Day.
Everyone is encouraged to bring a chair or blanket. These events are FREE but donations are encouraged. Dogs must be on a leash. No alcohol, smoking or coolers are allowed in the park.
We will strongly suggest that everyone obeys safe Covid-19 protocols at the time of the event set in place by the state of N.C. and Jackson County. The Jackson County Department of Public Health is pleased to offer FREE COVID-19 vaccines in partnership with the Concerts on the Creek summer music series, featuring Johnson and Johnson’s Jansen vaccine. Open to all 18 years and older. These will be available from 6:30 p.m. until the music ends at 9 p.m.
These concerts are organized and produced by the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce, the Town of Sylva and the Jackson County Parks and Recreation Department.
