Mission Health issued the following announcement on Feb. 22.
Mission Hospital's Cardiovascular Surgery Program received a 3-star recognition rating, the highest from The Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS). Only 5-6% of the programs across the country receive 3-stars. Thank you to our surgeons, nurses, and team who helped achieve this amazing accomplishment.

Participation in the STS National Database is global, currently spanning 11 countries on five continents. Congratulations to our Mission Hospital team!
