Jackson County Parks and Recreation issued the following announcement on Apr. 27.
Registration Fee: $60 per participant
Participants must be between the ages of 10-15
This is a six (6) week program designed for youth in Jackson County that want to go fishing as a club.
This program is for participants who have prior experience fishing and understand the basics of fishing (not for beginners). Each participant gets a Jackson County Fishing Club dry-fit shirt. We will travel across Jackson County early in the morning
(Drop Off @ 7:30AM) to different locations for each club meeting and go over the rules and have a good time fishing the morning. Locations may vary based upon weather and info gathered closer to fishing times. We will make sure the parents know where we are going and that we will be back at the Cullowhee Recreation Center by 11:30AM.

Jackson County Greenway
Ralph J. Andrews Park
Dillsboro Picnic Park
Webster Tuckasegee River Access
Monteith Farmstead and Community Park
East LaPorte
Balsam Lake
Tanasee Creek Lake
Transportation is provided.
