JACKSON COUNTY PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT: Inaugural Disc Golf Event For Brand new Disc Golf Course Sept. 17th

Jackson County Parks And Recreation Department issued the following announcement on Aug. 15.

Join us for the Inaugural Disc Golf Event for the brand new Disc Golf Course at the Cashiers/Glenville Recreation Center.

Our Course is a 9 hole, par 28 Course that plays around the grounds at the Cashiers/Glenville Recreation Center.

This will be an 18 hole, Individual Player tournament. Each Player will Play the course 2 times on tournament day. Low score of total 18 holes played will be winner.

Tournament cost will be $15 per individual player. The playing field will be limited to the first 24 people who register. Preregistration is required.

All players will play in the same division. There are NO AGE OR SKILL DIVISIONS.

Players will go out in Groupings of 3 or 4 which will be prearranged before the tournament from registration.

Tournament will take place on September 17th starting at 9:30 AM. Check in will be from 8:30 AM-9:15 AM the morning of the tournament.

Discs will NOT be provided. Each individual should have their own personal discs.
