Town of Franklin issued the following announcement on Aug. 24.
The Town of Franklin will have a contractor who will be working on the sidewalk on Maple Street beginning at 8:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 24 and Thursday, August 25, 2022.
The sidewalk is on the downhill side, and traffic can travel up Maple Street toward the roundabout, but traffic will not be allowed to come down the hill.
Traffic signs will be in place to re-route traffic to avoid the area during this process.
