CLAY COUNTY SCHOOLS HAYESVILLE: Board of Education Approved a Raise for Substitute Pay

Clay County Schools Hayesville issued the following announcement on Nov. 27.

The Clay County Schools Board of Education approved a raise for substitute pay during tonight’s monthly meeting!

NC Certified Substitutes pay increased to $125/day

Non-Certified Substitute pay increased to $100/day.

The CCS Board of Education and School & District Administration appreciates all our dedicated substitutes and welcome more interested persons to apply.

Substitutes must provide one of the following when applying:

a valid, current NC Teacher License 

OR

a certificate of training through either WRESA.org or Tri-County Community College 

AND

3 references with email contacts for reference form submission 

Applications must be completely submitted and references received at least 10 days prior to the monthly BOE meeting to allow for an interview and background check.
