Harris Regional Hospital is set to host a Lunch and Learn session focused on heart health and emergency heart symptoms. The event, scheduled for February 20th from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM, will be held in the Easton Board Room at the hospital.
Dr. Brad McAbee, an emergency medicine physician with expertise in emergent heart conditions, will lead the session. He will discuss recognizing heart attack signs, understanding when to seek care, and responding effectively in emergencies.
Heart disease remains a major cause of death in the U.S., but timely intervention can significantly impact outcomes. Harris Regional Hospital, an accredited Chest Pain Center, aims to provide high-quality care for heart emergencies. Dr. McAbee will highlight warning signs such as chest pain and shortness of breath and explain when immediate medical attention is necessary.
The session includes a complimentary lunch and offers participants a chance to ask questions about heart health. It is open to anyone interested in learning more about cardiovascular well-being.
